Pamela Tu is a vector artist based in the Bay Area of Northern California.
Her maternal ancestors were gemstone traders and jewelry designers in Bangkok, Thailand, which inspired a love for design at an early age. She finished her Bachelors degree at the Art Center College of Design in Illustration. Pamela likes to work with digital and traditional illustration and design, as well as textile, formed and dimensional media. She draws inspiration from classical myths and the popular animations and culture of America, Japan and Thailand. Other influence can be found from the Berlin Collective program at the Art Center. Pamela also participated in drawing classes at Silpakorn, the national Fine Arts University. Some of her favorite artists include Alphonse Mucha, Charley Harper and friend, Soey Milk.
