Muneera Marzouq

Place of Birth: Kuwait.

Currently Living in: I currently live in Kuwait.

What’s the most important object in your studio? My silhouette cameo cutting machine.

Paper or Plastic? Both!

Favourite Project you have produced so far? A project called ‘Thoughts And Ideas’. Its about human thoughts being part of nature just as much as waves on the oceans and clouds in the sky.

What are you working on right now? A vector portrait using Adobe Illustrator. Its combination between Arabic calligraphy and portraiture.

Favourite Food? Rice and chicken.

Coffee or tea? Coffee.

What’s your earliest creative memory? I cant remember at which age but it was a dream I had that I still remember clearly. I dreamed about a blue kingdom, everything was in blue. Blue seats, blue streets, blue fountain, except for the water, the water was clear and transparent. After that dream I started to play with water colours and began to draw. I don’t consider myself to be great at drawing but I love colours so much and I love to draw and sketch and I still do it from time to time. I then started to learn photography and really began to enjoy working on both Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.

How do you prefer to spend your mornings? Before I start work I like to watch artists such as Salvador Dali, it get’s me inspired. I also frequent some of my favourite graphic design websites as this is a strong interest of mine and something that I am currently pursuing.
