Mitch Frey

Stylistically, Mitch Frey is hard to pin down.

In the 1990’s he specialized in a woodblock print style, which morphed into digital woodcut and continues to be one of his favorite forms of expression.  It retains a hand hewn feel while offering the flexibility of the vector format. With the new millennium, Mitch developed a WPA-inspired retro poster look, and has since played with simplified variations of that genre. Over the past 5 years, he has enjoyed creating a flat graphic style for gaming, info-graphics and editorial applications.

Mitch revels in the challenge of breaking into new ways of visualizing an idea.  He counts himself fortunate to collaborate with top notch designers and clients of all shapes and sizes.

While the great majority of his work is commissioned, a collection of his personal works may be found at fineartamerica.com
