COLLAGE & MIXED MEDIA ARTIST
Place of Birth: Castellón (Spain)
Currently Living in: Barcelona (Spain)
Train, bus, bike, or other: We live close to our studio so we ride our bikes most of the times.
What’s the most important object in your studio? We don’t know if this is the most important object in our studio but we are always looking at there: the ceiling. When we need some ideas we look at it. When we are bored we look at it. When we are happy we look at it. It is always there if we need it. It is amazing.
Paper or Plastic? Paper. Definitely. We love playing with its colours and textures. The versatility of paper lets us create anything we can think of. Paper is a really good friend.
Favourite Project you have produced so far? We are quite proud of our last beach market project. We developed the branding and an advertising campaign. We also designed some structural elements installed at the market. It was a very complete project in which we put a lot of energy and enthusiasm.
What are you working on right now? We are working on a publication entitled “amar a quemarropa”. We are in charge of the layout and illustrations, and we will hopefully see it published next year.
Favourite Food? Pizza. And good table talks.
What’s your earliest creative memory? We have always been crafty, that might be the reason why one of our earliest creative memories takes us back to when we used to spend hours assembling dinosaur paper models. Our studio is still full of them.
How do you prefer to spend your mornings? Mornings are the most important part of the day for us. That is when we usually have our team meetings and share our latest ideas. When we aren’t brainstorming together, we love looking for new inspiration sources such as books or design magazines.
